One of the most difficult and challenging requirement of Christianity is having to forgive and love our enemies.
How can we possibly forgive and love when our thoughts are focussed on revenge and retribution?

Pray for your enemies. Earnestly and honestly pray for those who have done you harm.
If you pray for those who have hurt you, you can't possibly hate them. In time, with God's help, you'll learn to forgive them. Yes, and even love them ...
